Edith Rigby Talk – join Peter Wilkinson who will be giving an illustrated pop-up presentation on the life of Edith Rigby, Preston’s most famous suffragette. Learn about how her early life, living in the poorer part of Preston, influenced her to fight for the rights of women and improved conditions for factory workers. Frequently thrown into prison and force-fed on hunger strike.

You will be seated in a gazebo. Ideal for those who cannot make the walk on Saturday.
