Heritage Weekend Winckley Square September 14 – 15 2019

Events

Saturday 14th September 2019

11:00 am till 3:30 pm | Winckley Square, Preston

Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September walks: all start in the centre of the Gardens.

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. Every year in September locations across the country open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history.

The Friends of Winckley Square have been running regular Guided Walks since 2017. Hundreds of people have been on the walks and we have had many requests to add more walks with a different focus. For Heritage Weekend we are offering five different walks. So why not come along and celebrate with us the rich heritage of Winckley Square – Preston’s only Georgian square?
